Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical abortion and family planning care.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose health issues, and create individualized patient care plans.
- Administer treatments, monitor patients post-procedure, and manage discharge.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and consult with other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on managing and preventing illness and injury.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to answer a 24/7 nurse advice line.
- Contribute to clinical policy development and strategies for enhancing patient care.
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or NP Certificate.
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, or Certified Nurse Midwife.
- Active, non-probationary Nurse Practitioner license and DEA license in Illinois.
- Proficiency with medical EHR systems and other standard office software.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Typical patient hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m
