Sterile Processing Technician (CST/SPD) Job | Mississippi Gulf Coast | Full-Time | Weekly Pay
Express Healthcare is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time opportunity on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This position is ideal for experienced Central Sterile Processing Techs seeking a consistent Monday–Friday schedule in an ambulatory surgery center environment.
Location: Mississippi Gulf Coast
Pay Rate: $16–$25/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of the sterilization process, including decontamination and instrument processing
• Work closely with Operating Room (OR) staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and supplies for surgical procedures
• Monitor daily surgery schedules and anticipate instrument and equipment needs for upcoming cases
• Assist with cleaning and turnover of procedure rooms between cases
• Maintain accurate sterilization and processing records in accordance with healthcare regulations and facility guidelines
Requirements:
• CST education, sterile processing experience, or certification required
• Minimum 6 months of Sterile Processing Technician experience required; 2 years preferred
• Reliable, professional, and personable demeanor
• Hands-on BLS certification required
• TB test required
• Background check required
