Requirements
- 1 year of RN experience within the last 2 years
- 1 year of chemotherapy experience required
- Hands-on BLS certification
- TB test
Responsibilities
- Safely prepare and administer chemotherapy and other oncology medications according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Closely observe patients during and after treatment for side effects or adverse reactions, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Provide education on chemotherapy regimens, side effects, symptom management, and at-home care to help patients and their families understand the treatment process.
- Record all medications administered, patient assessments, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
