X-Ray Technologist – Full-Time or 12-Week Contract Assignment

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Location: Ocean Springs, MS
Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed X-Ray Technician / Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role is responsible for operating radiologic equipment, ensuring radiation safety, positioning patients, and completing related documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Essential Duties
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic X-ray examinations.
- Operate digital radiography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Adjust exposure settings according to examination specifications.
- Follow established radiology protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
- Develop and process radiographic images as needed.
- Enter imaging orders and complete documentation in the EMR.
- Maintain procedure logs and complete required clerical tasks.
- Report equipment issues to the Lead Radiologic Technologist.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technology program.
- Current Mississippi Radiologic Technologist license required.
- Current ARRT certification required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of radiology experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 6–8 hours per shift.
- Frequent walking, bending, and stooping.
- Ability to move radiology equipment and assist with patient transfers as needed.
