We are seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join a Women & Children’s Hospital to assist pharmacist in prescription management and communication between physicians and patients.
Job Summary
Pay: Up to $31.50/hr
Location: Honolulu, HI
12 hour shifts
Duties:
- Provide pharmacy support services in acute care, clinic, or commercial pharmacy settings.
- Communicate with doctors’ offices, hospitals, patients, and insurance companies.
- Disburse prescriptions to patients.
- Maintain patient chart and/or electronic medical record and pharmacy records.
- Answer questions and provide customer service, as needed.
- Assist pharmacist in the maintenance of medication inventory and ordering.
- Work with patients/customers who may be disoriented, hostile, or confused
