Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:
Pharmacy Technicians assists pharmacist in prescription management and communication between physican's and patients.

Typical Responsibilities:

Provide pharmacy support services in acute care, clinic, or commercial pharmacy settings.
Communicate with doctor's offices, hospitals, patients and insurance companies.
Disburse prescriptions to patients.
Maintain patient chart and/or electronic medical record and pharmacy records.
Answer questions and provide customer service as needed.
Assist pharmacist in the maintenance of medication inventory and ordering.
Ability to work with patients/customers who may be disoriented, hostile or confused.

Requirements:

Posses current applicable license/certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
Must have one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician/
Require proficiency in English verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in current standard pharmacy computer recordkeeping.
BLS/CPR Card (In-Person Class)
TB Test (Taken within the last 12 months)
Able to provide 2 professional references

Pay:
$16 - 20 an hour
