Job Description

Express Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for per diem hospital assignments on the beautiful island of Kauai. This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate care in a dynamic clinical setting while enjoying the natural beauty and culture of Hawaii.

Whether you're a Med-Surg Nurse or a Specialty Nurse, we offer competitive pay, travel support to make your transition seamless.

  • Position: Per diem Med-Surg Nurse or Specialty Nurse
  • Location: Lihue, Kauai
  • Shifts: 12-hour shifts
  • Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Pay Rates

  • Med-Surg Nurse: Up to $60/hour
  • Specialty Nurse: Up to $67/hour

Travel & Accommodation Support

  • Weekly flights or hotel accommodations for multiple shifts
  • Transportation between Lihue Airport (LIH) and Wilcox Medical Center
  • Parking at Honolulu Airport

Job Requirements

Nurse Qualifications:

  • Current State of Hawaii RN License
  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN acute experience (within the past 24 months/2 years)
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Current TB/2-Step TB/Chest X-Ray/QUANTIFERON
  • Federal FingerPrint
  • N95 Fit Test
  • Proof of vaccinations: MMR, TDAP, Varicella, COVID and FLU
