Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 3rd Shift
Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Full-Time/Part-Time available)
Position Overview
Express Healthcare has partnered with a Libertyville LTC Facility and is looking for dedicated, night-owl CNAs to join our compassionate care team. As a 3rd shift CNA, you are the watchful eye that ensures our residents remain safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night. We value caregivers who bring a sense of calm and professionalism to the overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Nighttime Rounds: Conduct regular checks to ensure resident safety and comfort.
- Personal Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including evening hygiene, repositioning, and toileting.
- Clinical Support: Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic health records of care provided during the shift.
- Environment: Ensure a quiet, clean, and restful environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active Illinois CNA certification in good standing.
- Compliance: Listed on the Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and a high level of empathy for the elderly.
- Requirements: Reliability and the ability to work rotating weekends/holidays as scheduled.
