Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA)

Job Description:
Medical Assistant (MA) function as part of a team assigned to a clinic, outpatient facility, laboratory, or other healthcare arenas.

Typical Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional patient care, and patient care services under the supervision of a physicians, nurse practitioner (NP), physician's assistant (PA), or other licenesed healthcare provider. 
Provide services as per physician's or NP's orders.
Obtain patient health information and vital signs, record information in the medical chart and/or electronic medical record.
Assist with patient medical examinations and diagnostic testing.
Organize and complete business and insurance records as directed.
Work with patients who may be disoriented, hostile or confused.

Requirements:

Graduate of a formal Medical Assistant program with a passing score or successful completion of on-the-job training in conjunction with meeting state requirements.
Require six (6) months of current MA experience.
BLS/CPR Card (In-Person Class)
TB Test (Taken within the last 12 months)
Able to provide 2 professional references

Pay:
$18 - 22 an hour
