Requirements

  • MA diploma or certification
  • 2-3 years of MA experience
  • Must know how to assist in the procedure room 
  • Knowledge of sterile technique
  • Reliable and Personable
  • Hands-on BLS certification 
  • TB test 

Responsibilities

  • Taking and recording vital signs 

  • Preparing patients for exams and procedures

  • Assisting physicians during exams

  • Sterilizing medical instruments and cleaning exam rooms

  • Educating patients on medications, treatments, or post-visit care
