Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Description:
As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and physicians to provide quality nursing care to patients. You will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort to patients.
Typical Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changed or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Assist in performing diagnostic tests and collecting samples for laboratory analysis.
Provide wound care and dressings.
Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medication, and self-care techniques.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive pateint care.
Adhere to all relevant nursing policies, procedures, and protocols.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements:
Valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee
Completion of an accredited LPN program
Strong knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Proficient in using electronic medical record systems.
BLS/CPR Card (In-Person Class)
TB Test (Taken within the last 12 months)
Able to provide 2 professional references
Pay:
$30 - 38 an hour
