Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is skilled in maternal–newborn nursing, confident in assessment and intervention, and committed to supporting patients and families throughout the childbirth experience.
Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive patient assessments and analyze data to identify patient needs
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Provide maternal, fetal, and newborn care following current clinical standards
- Support patient and family education throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Promote a safe, healthy environment for all patients
- Integrate evidence-based practice and ethical standards into daily care
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in quality improvement, professional development, and peer support
- Provide leadership and serve as a resource within the department
- Maintain required education and competencies in alignment with hospital and regulatory standards
Requirements:
- Current Montana RN License — Required
- American Heart Association BLS — Required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) — Required
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Course (AWHONN approved or equivalent) — Required
- American Heart Association ACLS — Required
- Competence and willingness to practice modified primary nursing — Required
- 1 year Labor & Delivery RN or PACU experience — Required
Contract Details:
- 13-week contract
- Weekly pay: $1,240 per diem eligible + $1,836 taxed
