Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Job Description:
Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in providing excellent oral health care to all patients. You will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to deliver comprehensive dental services. 

Typical Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
Take and develop X-ray per dentist's instructions.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect teeth from decay.
Administer local anesthesia, if certified, to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide individualized oral health care instructions.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health, including examining gums, teeth, and oral tissues.
Record and maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
Assist the dentist in other clinical procedures as needed.

Requirements:

Valid dental hygienist license in the state of Tennessee
Successful completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
Proficiency in performing dental cleanings and taking dental x-rays
Knowledge or oral hygiene techniques and dental care products
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to educate and motivate patients to maintain good oral health habits
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
BLS/CPR Card (In-Person Class)
TB Test (Taken within the last 12 months)
Able to provide 2 professional references

Pay:
$35 - 37 an hour
