Job Title: Dental Assistant (DA)
Job Description:
Dental Assistant (DA) function as part of a team assigned to a clinic, outpatient facility, dental laboratory, or other healthcare arenas.
Typical Responsibilities:
Provide healthcare services under the supervision of a dentist.
Provide assistive services to a dentist, dental hygienist, or dental technician.
Process X-rays if certified to do so as per state regulations.
Perform expanded functions if trained with appropriate current certification.
Organize and complete business, healthcare, and insurance records as directed.
Work with patients who may be disoriented, hostile or confused.
Requirements:
Complete state required Dental Assistant training.
Possess current, applicable licensure/registration as required on a state-by-state basis.
Retain X-ray certification or state registration to practice as a Dental Assistant.
Prefer other certifications such as EFDA, RFC, EFODA, or CADA/ADA - not required
Have training in infection control and use of PPE
Require verbal and written skills in English
BLS/CPR Card (In-Person Class)
TB Test (Taken within the last 12 months)
Able to provide 2 professional references
Pay:
$22 - 23 an hour
