We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide supportive, high-quality rehabilitative care in a Skilled Nursing Facility/Long-Term Care setting. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and skilled in helping residents improve or maintain independence.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the OT with evaluations and individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions for ADLs, mobility, strength, and cognition
- Educate residents and families on safety and adaptive techniques
- Document resident progress accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes
- Maintain a safe, positive, and resident-centered care environment
Requirements:
- Current State COTA Certification/Licensure — Required
- AHA BLS/BCLS — Required
- Minimum 1 year SNF/LTC experience — Required
Contract Details:
- 13 Week Contract
- 3 - 12 Hour Shifts
- Maximum Pay: $1,150 Per Diem Eligibility + $720 Taxed
