Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality bedside care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)—including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to maintain comfort and safety.
- Measure and accurately document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and report changes to the charge nurse.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with long-term residents and healthcare staff.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Active Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- CPR/BLS: Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Background: Ability to pass a standard healthcare background check and drug screen.
- Attributes: Reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for patient care.
