Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Description:
Registered Nurses (RNs) are healthcare professionals who provide direct patient care and play a critical role in promoting and maintaining patients' health. They work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, physician's offices, long-term care facilities, and community health centers. RNs assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and their families about healthcare management.
Typical Responsibilities:
Assessing patients' health conditions, including physical, psychological, and social aspects.
Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms, and documenting observations and findings.
Collaborating with healthcare teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
Monitoring patients' vital signs and reactions to medications or treatments.
Operating and monitoring medical equipment.
Assisting with diagnostic tests and analyzing results.
Educating patients and their families about health conditions, self-care, and treatment plans.
Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and updated medical records.
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) to obtain a registered nursing license.
Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards of care.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
Compassion, empathy, and the ability to provide patient-centered care.
Physical stamina and the ability to handle stressful situations.
Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.
BLS/CPR Card (In-Person Class)
TB Test (Taken within the last 12 months)
Able to provide 2 professional references
Pay:
$40 - 50 an hour
