Job Summary
Express Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, and implementing treatment protocols while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. This is a 13-week night shift contract that can lead to permanent placement.
Schedule: 3x12, 7pm-7am.
Duties :
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage acute pain effectively through appropriate interventions.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Participate in coding processes for accurate billing and record-keeping.
- Feeding tube care and management. Pre-Post Meodialysis Management.
- Cardiac drips-no titration. Manage Vasactive drips-no titration
- Management of Dysrhythmias and Telemetry monitoring.
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS and ACLS obtained through in-person course.
- Familiarity with chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required.
- Proven experience administering injections safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
