Pay Range

• RNs: $55-$60 per hour
• LPNs: $44-$49 per hour

Education/Training:

• Nursing license and current CPR certification

Skills

• Knowledge of ADLs and regulatory requirements.
• Preferred experience in gerontological nursing.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with long-term care medications.
• Ability to push/pull a 50 lbs medication cart.

• Ensure resident privacy, dignity, and safety.
• Implement safety procedures and maintain confidentiality.
• Work cooperatively with minimal supervision.
• Communicate tactfully in sensitive situations.
• Follow up on complaints and promote customer service.
• Adhere to training, attendance, and dress code policies.

Essential Duties

• Administer medications accurately and timely.
• Count narcotics at shift changes.
• Apply treatments and complete resident assessments.
• Monitor and assist Nursing Assistants.
• Document information in residents’ charts.
• Complete incident reports and alert charge nurse of medication needs.

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, occasional sitting, and standing.
• Occasional squatting, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive movements with proper body mechanics.
• Occasional pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

• Controlled indoor temperature, well-lit, smoke-free, with occasional odors.
• Noise levels from quiet to moderate.
• Occasional moisture exposure during bathing.
